I had these in the other caliber and have looked for 308, couldn't find it. Finally got these. This is a cool product, although it might be debatable if it's necessary. You need a nice stiff rod, preferably non-spinning. I have Dewey's. These do not replace a chamber brush IMO, you should absolutely brush the chamber. Then use these to wipe the residue and solvent out. Cool idea, but you can also easily do without. The way they mount onto a rod is a little annoying - you have to use that tiny nut attachment. Would prefer some kind of a quick "snap on" method.

These work great for cleaning the chamber on my .308 rifle.
