I had a years long plugged bushing on leave springs on a 4x4 6 ton. It took a bit, to free it. Hammer something liquid in, like diesel fuel, not grease. The diesel will pass the tools oring, so wrap a cloth around it while hammering. And do a bit, every 2-3 days, while using the vehicle. The doesel will thinnen the greas behind the nipple and then work itself towards tge bushing.

While it didn't work for my application, I can confirm that this seems to be a very high quality tool. The pivot pins in this front end loader may not have been greased in decades so it may literally be rusted solid. That it comes with two additional o-rings is fantastic, and they are installed on the tool so very unlikely to get lost!**EDIT: The tool seems to have actually worked to a small degree and repeated use over several days finally loosened the grease/rust that was holding my pivot pins solid in my new-to-me front end loader. I still needed a lot of elbow grease, hammer whacks, etc. to get the pins out, but upon inspection I could see the penetrating oil had, in fact, penetrated into the joint. I had replaced the zerks and dug out as much old grease as I could with a pick. This allowed the penetrating oil to get right down to the pin and spread from there.**I agree with others that it's ridiculous you need to disassemble the tool to put it back in the case; it wouldn't be a big deal if reassembly didn't require thread tape and two wrenches every time you want to use it! A person should be able to remove the plunger, empty the penetrating oil, and shove it back in the box, but that's not the reality. However, I didn't buy this tool for the storage case so it doesn't affect my rating.

I had several grease zerks on my trencher that weren't taking grease. This tool fixed then for me.

Works perfectly on straight fittings. Must have straight shot & room to swing. I would buy it again foor sure.
