This was a Christmas gift for my grand-dog who is very anxious and timid. He was spending time at my house for the holiday and it is a new environment for him, so we expected him to be more anxious than usual. When we placed the vest on him, he was unsure at first. Within maybe five minutes he settled on the sofa and took a nap. There was much less whining and shaking when he was in his vest. She has tried other vests on him and this was the first to work. We kept it on him the rest of the time he was here. He usually wears a small in clothing and the small vest was a little too big for him. It was long on the stomach, so he wet it when he did his business. We were able to position for a better fit, after a quick washing! The fabric is soft and stretchy with ample Velcro to hold it tightly in place. His other vests did not seem to get tight enough around his chest for him to feel the full effect. I give this the anxious doggy paw of approval!

This anxiety vest has been a surprising help for our evening routine. Our 20 lb fluffy (but lean) pup wears it nightly now - we actually started calling it his PJs. The adjustable straps work perfectly for his unique build, and there's still room to fit larger dogs.While it's not a miracle solution, we've noticed subtle improvements in his anxiety levels. He seems more comfortable and maybe even a bit more confident when wearing it. The design allows for a snug but not restrictive fit, which seems key for effectiveness.The adjustability is probably this vest's strongest feature. Even with our dog's unusual proportions (very fluffy but quite thin), we can get a proper fit using nearly the full strap length. Can't compare it to other brands since this is our first anxiety vest, but it's proven worth the investment for us.Got this through Amazon's Vine program. We cover taxes on the retail value, and I made sure to test it for several weeks before sharing these thoughts. It’s ok, but we liked other shirts better. We tried this shirt on my hyper-anxious Heeler, Delilah and it was ok. We prefer the more stretchy shirts but tried this type with the Velcro panels and found it less pleasant aesthetically. Both styles are helpful but the Velcro bits are uncomfortable for both of us because they are a bit thick and noticeable compared to the parts without the Velcro. The noise of the Velcro also bothered Delilah when I had to make adjustments to the shirt.

This vest has been great for my anxious puppy who isn't the biggest fan of traveling or being away from his mom too long : (. Because I WFH, he's home with me every day all day, so the second he senses that I'm about to leave, his anxious behavior begins. I started putting this vest on him on the mornings I have plans to be out of the house later in the day or on the days we're taking him in the car with us, and it's completely stopped him from pacing back and forth for hours while we pack or whining at my feet when getting dressed to leave. It's also stopped him from obsessively chewing on things (thank God!)!He's currently ~ 17lbs and the medium fits him perfectly. The vest appears well-made, and the material is super soft. As a goldendoodle, he has a ton of hair, so Velcro can sometimes be a pain, but somehow his hair never gets caught up in it, and I'm able to get the vest on him and secured quickly and easily. He just seems so much more secure when wearing it and I know he likes it because he sits still when I'm putting it on, and he doesn't immediately try to rip it off with his teeth. His whole demeanor changes to calm and relaxed when wearing this vest, and for that I'm ever thankful and highly recommend trying if you're in a similar situation with your pup!

It was hard for me to review this since it didn’t work too well for my French Bulldog. I don’t think it is the products fault though and it looks and seems to fit exactly as advertised. She just, I think, need more support and maybe also something more to calm her during storms. It was a fair price and truly fits and seems to be as supportive as I expected.
